Some Darkening: or other color differences between the buttocks and around the genitals can be normal and changes can occur with age. If this is a recent change, and because you are concerned, have it evaluated by your MD. Chances are good that it is nothing of major concern but being diabetic means you need to be diligent in watching for any changes!
