I have a scratchy eye for a while, not red or swollen, can't see anything irritating it, mornings opening my eye the worst, feels like hot sand in my eye, ususally feels better after 30mins in the morning but getting worse?

You may have: a foreign body stuck under your eyelid or a corneal abrasion. See a health care professional for an evaluation. An Ophthalmologist would be the best one to see.
