I've woke up this morning and my left eye is bright red and swollen i tried washing it a couple of times and it's still the same its really itchy ?

Allergies: Likely an allergic reaction given the itching component. You can take an antihistamine and see if it improves. Less likely is a viral infection which of present would clear itself over the next week or two. Can use artificial tears and cool compresses to keep it comfortable.
