My son hasn't been feeling well since friday afternoon. he was vomiting, but that has stopped. i took him to the er and the put him on zofran (ondansetron).

Standard treatment: Your trip to the er provided you with both an assessment of the kids basic status and an effective medication to quell the vomiting.Most of these events are transient , passing over 2-3 days.As long as the kid can take in enough fluids to pee every 6 hours he will stay hydrated. A slow return to feeds is advised. If he gradually improves you can monitor at home.If he worsens have him re-evaluated.
