Generally: OTC medication with ANTI-INFLAMMATORY action eg: IBUPROFEN can be very effective! Have you had a chest x ray since you developed these recurring symptoms? If not suggest one (or better yet a CT scan ) to definitely diagnose the reason for this repeated pain! Hope this helps DrZ
