Need IV hydration: Many hours of frequent diarrhea and vomiting will lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. If he cannot keep down fluids with electrolytes such as Gatorade or Pedialyte then he should go to an urgent care that can give IV fluids and anti vomiting medication. If your urgent care does not have the ability to offer IV hydration then go to an emergency room.
