Gastroenteritis: Sounds as if you have had an acute infection. In the absence of fever (which you may have had if you were chilling) this is usually viral and will clear in 2-4 days. You could see a doctor and get an anti-nauseant medication or ride it out and eat only bland foods for a day or two.
