Need a consultation: This pain can be originating from the spine or surrounding areas such as the kidneys. Given the severe nature of the pain, a consultation and likely an mr imaging examination would be needed. Information from this exam along with the clinical info would help determine where the pain is originating from and whether it is mechanical, neurologic or solid organ based. I advise seeing a pain specialis.
