Hi my daughter stepped on a bee and i had to pull the stinger out. her foot is swollen, its numb, red and she cant move it too much. is this normal? this is her first bite, shes 13 so im a lil worried im thinking of taking her to the hospital.

Initial treatment: for a bee sting is ICE, Benadryl, and Motrin. Your daughter is old enough to receive these medications. The dosages can be found on the bottle. If the reaction is worrying you however, its fine to have a physician take a look at an urgent care or ER if symptoms seem to be throughout her body in any way.
