Been checking up with the heart and lung doc lung says only asthma. just walking down stairs i get winded bad. inhaler not helping had 6 palpitations in less than a minute today? what could it be? got a full heart work up and its clear.

Sounds like you may: be deconditioned and if you are only using a rescue inhaler - might need to look into something more regular. Please let your pulmonologist know.

Mgt: I would suggest pulmonary function testing with and without bronchodilator, reviewing your asthma triggers and an exercise challenge test.
Other considerations include pulmonary embolism. Are you coughing?

I advise continued: evaluation. If it's "only asthma" the inhalers should be having some effect. Maybe steroids/Prednisone will need to be considered. Full work up likely includes CT/MRI, exercise echocardiogram and/or cardiopulmonary exercise testing. While anxiety would not be my first consideration, it has to be considered as another possibility. At your young age, a definite cause should be found/treated.
