My son is 7 ,he is healthy and active but he only weighs 42 pounds. he is 48 inches high. looks like a skeleton. how can we get him to eat more?

Healthy looking ?: I would first have a discussion with his doc about his his status. Those numbers suggest a real medical problem not just a need to eat more. He needs 3 lb to be considered underweight. After proper exam and tests there, if there is nothing more needed there are meds the doc can prescribe to stimulate appetite, but I suspect he needs to see a pediatric endocrinologist after an initial evaluation
