Hi my son was born with a condition called polands syndrome. left side affected, slow growth missing front and back chest muscle. hand is 100% functional though weak. his paed isnt too concerns. should i get a 2nd opinion?

For what ?: Poland syndrome is an uncommon but easily recognized pattern of birth defects that are thought to arise from poor blood flow to the involved structures during fetal development. Its limitations are usually evident on exam and stable. If you have specific concerns about origin, heredity or other issues feel free to ask or consult with a clinical geneticist.
