I hurt my knee 5yrs ago and after than its been cracking with no pain, i haven't seen a dr for this lately since i've been at gym it has been bothering me and been painful when clicks when i walk or stretch it. what could it be?

Clicking knee.: A knee that clicks when moved through its range of motion can be revealing pathology in a meniscus, cruciate ligament or patella to name a few. This could be degenerative or related to previous trauma. A work-up would be wise - xray, MRI.
