Try ice: Put ice on the area. If continues to worsen best to get to doctor. Just don’t scratch or pick at it

Prednisone: I would add a 24 hour anti-histamine ie: claritin....and probably a short prednisone taper ie: medrol dose pak.....Dr. Wellner
