For the last week i've had sharp pain in my lower right abdomen but it always goes away. tonight i was laying and the stabbing pain happened again, and it was definitely worse whenever i exhaled. the pain went away but i'm still having discomfort?

Could be appendix. : Truth be told, the most sensitive predictor of acute appendicitis is the loss of appetite. Your other symptoms could be consistent with that, too, especially if pain is on right side of the lower abdomen. You should get this checked out right away in an ED.
