Unusual: Sometimes a bruise appears to grow larger, but it is just the blood beneath the skin changing color / evolving as it is resorbed. An ongoing bleed for days is suspicious for infection or blood clotting problem.

I have the nexplanon in my arm for birth control so I rarely have periods. I just finished a period 7-14 days ago. I am not bleeding again and the blood is dark red almost brown and has large clots of tissue in it. The flow is otherwise low for me.
Dime sized lump under left armpit. Bleeding occures if pressure or pulling on the skin near the lump happens. This has been persistant for roughly 7 months. Seems to be growing in size as time passes. Any suggestions as to what this may be?
