Better for many: Cyanocobalmin is adequate for most, but we have to convert it to the active form,methylcobalmin, and many people have genetic issues that make it difficult to convert.Also, trace amounts of cyanide are produced in that process; we can readily detoxify it but it might be better to not have to do that.Methylcobalamin is better absorbed.
