A member asked:

My 4 months baby's head circumference is 46 cm, is it ok?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: This would be at the high end of normal for a male infant & usually paired with a length of 67 cm. You can download a growth chart from the cdc website & plot known measures to follow the child's pattern. www.cdc.gov/growthcharts if your kid is shorter or the head size is increasing faster than his length, it is unusual. If this is a girl the head is too big.
