Outside water: It is an amoeba so it needs. Soil and water , Outside of houses in Temperate climates. Infects the person usually thru contaminated wounds, sometimes from nasopharyngeal aspiration of soil or dust . Not that common of an organism and usually can give rise to skin lesions or fatal Granulomatous Amebic Encephalitis
