Been rolling up toilet paper and putting it in my ears as homemade earplugs this week. beside the danger of it getting stuck, can it damage my hearing?

Should be OK. : It doesn’t sound like you’re doing anything that could negatively affect your hearing. That being said, buying formal earplugs would probably be a better idea.
