Tinnitus: Tinnitus is a sign. It is buzzing or roaring in the ear. The cause can be anywhere from blocked ear wax to dysfunction of the auditory nerve. Unfortunately, not uncommon to have a grossly normal ear canal and auditory system, but still have problems. Ways to improve the problem include the following: reduce activities that make it worse, use fan, soft music/radio, less stress, less alcohol.
