Not dangerous: Keloid is a hypertrophic scar with a large vascular and inflammatory component, it often is associated with itching sensation. Treatment can include scar revision, steroid injections and laser treatment. If it continues to grow and be symptomatic seek care with a plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
