There are no: "legal" barriers however NO physician , worth their "oath" will treat any condition that they are not fully competent to treat!!!! BTW behavioral Neurlogy and Adult Psychiatry are very common CO-SPECIALTIES (ie: physicians have passed Specialty boards for both medical specialties) Hope this is helpful Dr Z
