No: Any parent with a one year old with a high fever should call their pediatrician. While it is controversial regarding some symptoms related to teething, a "high fever" is not one of them.

High fever, NO: High fever is not a symptom of teething. Any infant or toddler with a high fever should be evaluated by their pediatrician asap.

No: High fever is not from teething. Have the child seen by a pediatrician.

Not from teething: Kids get sick. They need to build their immunity. Call your Pediatrician and report the high temperature. Keep child hydrated. And make your child's 1st dental examination (should coincide with 1st b'day) preferably with a Pedodontist, a children's dental specialist.
