Yes: Sleep deprivation due to opposite work hours has been shown to reverse with daytime employment. Get a checkup and labs to rule out other causes.

Sleep deprivation: This doesn't mean you will be dumb. Please do start taking better care of yourself. Sleep is the body and mind's time for repair. It replenishes us, so it is very important. You are likely to perform better cognitively if you are getting good quality and adequate amounts of sleep. Take care.

Zzzzzzzzz’s: You will likely recover with adequate sleep. However, not only must you ‘catch up’ on sleep but you then need to continue getting adequate sleep, i,e. About 8 hours a night. What is keeping you from sleep? If you can, follow the advice of the first doctor. If obligations interfere, speak to a counselor about change. Lack of sleep can be a major health risk.
