Knocked plaster wall down that resulted in lots of dust. asthma was bad. then i looked up and saw plaster can contain asbestos - turns out ours did - chrysotile. i was here with my kids and i cleaned up dust!had air quality done since all fine. ok??

Probably: The issue becomes will this exposure EVER trigger changes in your lungs that cause mesothelioma, the cancer associated with asbestos. That is hard to predict but it could motivate you to have a regular checkup and chest x-ray in years to come. This process if it occurs can take decades. You may want to discuss it at length with your physician at your next visit but wouldn't go now unless needed.
