Hip dislocation. : Usually speaking, a postoperative hip dislocation can be reduced (which means they put the hip replacement back into the socket where it belongs). This can sometimes be done without having to operate again. This person should be seen by an orthopedic surgeon for options, and also to make sure that a dislocation is actually what is going on.

Be seen: Needs to be seen. Immediately. A dislocated hip needs to be reduced on an urgent fashion and the longer it goes on the more likely it will be that the hip won't be able to be reduced closed but will need an open surgery.
