Work up: You would certainly want to have that looked into. Your urine can usually be checked to see what the exact issue is. Sometimes Urine discoloration can be a sign of kidney problems. A cat scan can also be done to make sure there are no structural issues with the kidney.

Count water glass : You note your urine is dark. Even if you drink water. Try counting the number of glasses of water you actually drink. If may be ok if you are sweating a lot. You may be concentrating urine correctly.
