Urine: This sounds like a urinary tract infection. I would suggest going to a minute clinic or urgent care to get yourself evaluated immediately. Any back pain is also suggestive of possible kidney infection so you need to be seen today. Go now.

Nonspecific: Strong urine odor itself is nonspecific. If your urine burns or if you have frequency in small amounts there could be an infection present. In view of the back pain, i recommend that your physician examine you and order an analysis of your urine.

Could be UTI: The symptoms you have are consistent with a urinary tract infection. The fact that your back hurts implies that it may have begun to spread into the kidney. If you develop nausea and vomiting, the kidney is certainly involved. Dramatically increase fluids to the point your urine is clear. Drink apple or cranberry juice to acidify the urine. If sx don't improve, or fever, need to see doc.
