See below: Low back pain usually improves within 1-2 weeks, but it depends on the circumstances. If your pain has persisted for greater than 1-2 weeks despite conservative management I would see your physician. You would also want to see your physician sooner if you have any fever, chills, night sweats, or bowel/bladder changes.
