No: You don't need a blood test. You need a scale. You stand on it and it tells you how much you weigh. You compare that with how much you weighed two months ago and with a little simple math you figure out how much weight you've gained. Anther way to find out if you've gained weight is if your clothes feel too tight compared to two months ago. But that won't tell you the exact amount of weight gain.
