Pea better?: The main difference between pea and whey is that pea protein will not have the lactose issues that whey proteins will have. If you are lactose intolerant or have issues with milk products then pea proteins may be better for you. However if you use the pea protein in larger shakes you can still get GI issues such as bloating, gas, diarrhea and constipation. Smaller more frequent shakes will help
