Can be bad!: Hopefully, this traumatic nerve damage will heal. Treatment options include Motrin, Neurontin (Lyrica), Cymbalta, and opiates (including Ultram), AND TIME. You may have heard of Trigeminal Neuralgia from Shingles which is an infectious nerve damage that may never go away. Treat aggressively and supportively, and cross your fingers!
