I am a female and i am experiencing pelvic inflammation, i have had normal pap smear results. my left ovary hurts and i am worried because i would like to start a family now. is this pain indicating something deeper or am i being paranoid?

GYN: pain should never be ignored...have a frank discussion with your GYN (or Family Physician...the PAP test alone is NOT the "answer"!!!! Hope this is helpful...good luck! Dr Z

I agree and ...: I agree, see your physician/provider right away. In addition, you may want to read Nim Barnes' book "How to Conceive Healthy Babies - the Natural Way." Her program has been studied, the results published and I have seen first hand how wonderfully effective it is. Good luck!
