See details: This type of pain in a 28 year ago is often secondary to patellar tendinitis. I would see an orthopedist for a diagnosis. Often appropriate exercises can produce good benefit. If ther meantime you can ice the knees after running or switch to a low impact aerobic activity such as cycling.
