A clear liquid filled sack appeared on my thigh this morning. it accidentally popped and appeared to be under a very thin layer of skin. it is now red and stings. what is this?

Blister?: Sounds like a blister, which could have occurred in response to friction on that area of skin yesterday. It stings because that thin layer of skin was protective of the inner layers of the skin, which are now exposed and very sensitive. If you start getting more of those blisters, though, go see a doctor immediately. If it's solitary and goes away, then should be fine.
