Scar?: Maybe you had some type of injury to the knuckle. A scar line from abrasion might be the raised line. Or it maybe a normal skin fold line over the knuckle area. Chip fractures of the bone could cause pain for two months. See a doctor for exam and Xray. A specialist such as a hand Orthopedic surgeon if it is still a problem.
