What you're: describing could represent a herniated disc. With this injury, patients often feel significant pain in the low back in the hours / days that follow. Then, a different pain develops that may radiate to one side, or down the leg. If it's bothering you enough to mention it two weeks out, I would consider having it looked at in an urgent care or your doctor's office. Best wishes.
