Obstetrician: I believe that you should not take any medications when pregnant without getting clearance from your obstetrician. Perhaps avoiding harsh roughage in your diet will suffice. Taking kaopectate may be more preferable than imodium during pregnancy, but I would defer to your obstetrician's advice.
