Sounds: like pressure on the lateral femoral cutaneous nerve while you sleep ( A SUPERFICIAL nerve in your thigh) Try sleeping in another position ( If you normally are sleeping on your stomach (more likely) try sleeping on your back and vice versa .. Hope this helps Dr Z

Pinched nerve?: Your symptoms most likely point toward a nerve impingement in your lower spine. Try changing your sleep position; consider a pillow under your knees if you sleep on your back. Or a small pillow between your knees if you sleep on your side. See a doctor for further evaluation if your symptoms continue.
