Lansoprazole.15mg a day took for one year now for diverticulitis risk of bleeding on plavix ,what are the alternatives to a ppi for over 70 female for diverticulitis as been on them over a year and worry about long term effects they could have on me?

Not: Lansoprzole works on the stomach and would not do anything for the diverticulitis. You need to make sure that you have enough fiber intake to avoid constipation but there is no dietary precaution needed otherwise. Good luck.
