Canker sores?: They may be canker sores which usually subside after a few days. You may try some local anesthetic to numb the lesions so that he can eat. Most importantly, be sure that he gets enough fluid and electrolytes so that he won't get dehydrated. Cold and blended food (milk shake?) may be better tolerated.
