Fish bone: Most fish bone food impactions within the esophagus will result in pain with swallowing. Pain with swallowing is called odynophagia. If you do not have pain with swallowing and are able to tolerate oral secretions it is unlikely that you have swallowed a fish bone. You can follow-up at your local emergency room if you develop worsened pain with swallowing.

Do not worry: If you do not have any symptoms, do not worry. The bone will dissolve in our stomach. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex, if you have sex. Get HPV vaccine
