Specific symptoms???: Are your lips swollen? Are they itchy? Usually, an allergic reaction is self-limiting and goes away on its own. In the meantime, to relieve symptoms, over the counter diphenhydramine may be helpful. It can cause drowsiness so avoid driving after taking it. See your doctor if you develop shortness of breath, difficult swallowing, rash or if your symptoms don't go away after 24-48 hours. Good luck!!
