Fever,sweats: Presence of true fever suggests that the infection has not yet resolved. Sweats after vomiting, on the other hand, can occur as an associated reflex like reaction but a gastrointestinal viral infection usually resolves after several days. If symptoms persist longer or worsen, see your physician for evaluation.
