Fever definition: A fever is not an elevation of temperature. Although there is some variation 100.3 to 100.6 seems to be the definition of fever. It does not depend on your "normal" temperature. Although you can treat elevations of temperature and fever with the available anti-fever medications. The most important thing is to determine 1) the cause of the temperature elevation and 2) the response to meds.
