See a doctor soon: Any unexplained intestinal or rectal bleeding requires professional evaluation. Most cases are not serious (e.g. hemorrhoids) but others can be very dangerous (e.g. cancer). See a doctor ASAP.

Need work up. : This could be something simple, like a hemorrhoid or anal fissure, but your age and its persistence makes a work up into cause a necessity. You should see a gastroenterologist for an EGD and colonoscopy. Maybe get an abdominal CT as well.
