On my left and right big toe underneath the nail there are a few tiny "dots" less than 1mm in size. i noticed the ones on the right foot at the end of may. i have a dermatologist appointment wednesday. what could this be?

Hard to say.: It could be several things, but my money is on warts. Be cause of proximity to the nail you are wise to be treated sooner than later.
