1-2 weeks: Usually narcotic pain medication should not be needed after 3 days. Motrin and Tylenol for first week. Should not have any pain after second week. If bite shifts and bone changes around surrounding teeth you may get some temperature sensitivity. If pain worsens after 3 days you may have dry socket and need to be evaluated by dentist who extracted tooth.
