I had a ct abdominal and pelvis w/contract 3 years ago for lower pain. i lost about 15 lbs within 5 months with abdominsl pain. my new gi doctor wanted another ct scan. all my past scans showed nothing, is it worth the additional radiation risk ?

Yes: You should have follow up CT and if is negative then you should have gastroscopy , and colonoscopy to find the cause so be treated.
